Well, I was a pretty good teenager if I don't say so myself!

If my future child becomes an idiot as a teenager, I'll ship them off to India for some reality checks. :lol: j/k....maybe

hee hee... i was NOT a good teenager, or a good early 20's :whistle: im just dont have that maternal instinct. someone hands me a baby and im like :blink: what do i do with it?

Nope, no desire to be pregnant ever ever again. Heartburn, stretch marks, strange people coming up and grabbing your stomach(GEEZ I hated that one) and needing special yoga like skills to wipe your own bum.

THEN comes sleepless nights, ear infections, teething and that milk smell permeating everything you own.

After that, terrible 2's during which nothing under 4 feet high is safe.

Terrifying 3's to follow during which NOTHING is safe, at least not if you've got a climber.

Kids are great from the ages of 4 to 8 or so...then you start with the pre-pubescent mood swings.

None of mine have hit full throttle puberty yet and I'm not sure we'll all survive it.(By we, I mean they, cause I'm bigger than them) :hehe:

I have wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember...

yeah, it is a hard job but the rewards more then make up for it....

the little hugs and kisses, the smell of a fresh washed baby, the joy you feel while holding them while they sleep.... hearing them call you, mommy... etc....

Been jealous of the baby, yes. (Or more precisely, it's that my ovaries just start whimpering whenever they see a baby or toddler.)

Been jealous of being pregnant, no. (Or more precisely, that baby is gonna spending how long kicking my bladder into my what now?)

But I've heard it's pretty normal, especially if you're trying or wanting to try.

I've never been jealous (yet...cuz you never know what can happen!) but yes sometimes being around babies makes me want to have one even more.

I love holding babies. My close friends have a baby girl who was 2 months premature, so she is so little and so pretty. I love when I get the chance to hold her. I feel totally comfortable holding babies, so I guess it's meant to be eventually! :P I have changed many diapers in my life so that doesn't gross me out either! haha...

Hi all!

Talked about baby, has made me very exited. My wife came to U.S on September 1. She is pregnant now. She is 13 weeks into her pregnancy. I feel really bad for her about her moning sickness and can not eat food. The bad things is that she does not have health insurance, but the good news is that I am going to be a daddy soon. :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Well, my boy will be 19 on June 30. He will go off to college this fall. He's back in his room this very minute, practicing his trombone. I don't get to hear him that often - he practices so much at school (music classes 3/4 of the day) so I'm enjoying the little concert (ugh I just heard him dump his spit valve)......

When Wes is at work in the evenings, if Zach is also gone, this house is the loneliest emptiest place on earth.

He's my only child, my flesh and blood. I love him to the ends of the earth despite the fact that he's a narly teenager with mood swings.

Because he's going to grow up to be a fine man. I just know it. He was gone last weekend and called home 'just to check in'. I thought - hmmmm - maybe there's hope for him yet.....maybe he will just grow up and be allright after all.

That's what he's here for. To grow up. To spread wings and fly. To soar.

He was never mine to keep. He was only mine to love and set free.

i never felt jelousy but depression. i was trying and trying for a baby and everyone around me was having one and working on number 2 when i finally got it right. took 2.5 years of practice but i finally got my little girl.

I know exactly how you feel. Javier and I have been trying to have kids for almost 3 years. We've even been to fertility doctors and it still hasn't happened. I get so upset when I see or hear of someone being pregnant. I just don't understand why it hasn't happened for us, even after we got help. I have almost resigned myself to the fact that I'm never going to be a mama and there's nothing I can do about it. As for us, we just keep practicing and hopefully we'll get it right one day. And if not, I suppose that means God has something else in store for us.

My husband and I desperately want children....BUT, we are taking full advantage of all the "selfish" time we have together now to do whatever we want. We believe we will be blessed when the time is right. Until then, we get all the naps we want!
