While you are waiting for your interview it's worth while getting to know the AOS process for once you arrive in the US. I know people will still be worrying about the interview and having the right bits of paper and so on, but as it's possible to be waiting a month then I think it's well worth thinking ahead.

Stuff like,

1: Getting your electronic I-94

2: Getting an SSN

3: Getting a driving licence in your state

4: marriage licence

5: marriage certs

6: filing for AOS, EAD and AP, which forms you need, photo requirements all all the other docs you need to send of with your AOS package

7: How much it's going to cost, where to send it to.

Have a read of the AOS guides and mooch about on the AOS forum, you will be surprised how many people arrive and then start with "what do i do now" questions. Don't be one of them, it's not difficult if you do some preparation.

This is all stuff you will need to do, so have a look now. Might as well while your waiting, give you something other than the interview (which is a doddle) to think about.
