Are you familiar with Abortion laws?

You seem to be under the assumption that in 1973 Abortions were legal and that was the end of the ruling then and since.

Abortions are banned in many ways.

Comparing that to Jim Crow laws which are completely gone just makes no sense.

We still have abortion restrictions and they are growing every day.

There is no absolute right to unfettered abortion, do you realize that?

On the contrary. In 1973 abortions were not legal, so much so it took a ruling of the SCOTUS to determine them to be legal in all 50 states. (Consider reading the entire ruling in Roe v.Wade). There is a right to unfettered abortion, there is however a right that every woman can make that choice, and in doing so, every woman in this country should have the right to exercise that right in a proper medical facility. If the State is interested in protecting fetal life after viability, it may go so far as to proscribe abortion during that period, except when it is necessary to preserve the life or health of the mother.^[18]

Abortion is not an unfettered right, you can not get one anywhere nor at any time during the development of the unborn.

Additionally, the Fetus, once viable accumulates rights of it's own as pointed out, in those places late term abortions are legal, the pain of the unborn must be dealt with before it is pulled apart or killed.
