Is medical packet all I need at border? What happens at border?

Hi, I will be entering the US about 2 days before the visa expires.

Is the only think I have to bring my sealed yellow envelope from the medical?

I will also bring my passport which has visa in it of course.

Could anyone tell me what the process is like at the border when entering on K1 as opposed to entering on VWP?

For K-1 visa holders (and other family-based visas), you will be submitting to the Immigration officer your: passport with valid visa, customs declarations form and SEALED visa packet. Some airports have the "First time Immigrants", but some don't. In any case, you might want to ask somebody that looks like a person of authority there which line you will go to.

You will not turn in a sealed envelope from your medical. You will be turning in the sealed envelope the consulate gives you when you receive your visa. It contains your entire case file. You will need to hand that over when you enter the US with your K-1.
