Hey there !!! For the timeline you have to submit one in your interview not the NVC. What kind of visa are you applying ? . For k1 : you have to submit one summary timeline in your k1 packet (i129f) .

After that if they require for one during the process time . It called RFE then you have to send more proof.

At the interview . All you have to do is provide the proof of on going relationship which devided to before and after engagement .

I emailed them a pdf copy right after I got a case number (HCMXXXX) and had the original notarized copy with my fiancee at time of interview. They took the original timeline, read it and put it in the file and proceeded with the interview.
