I think the arm-lock was strange, but it doesn't look like it was anything more than playin around...

But I DO think it's funny that the dad said 'everyone apologised except Tigger. He needs to be a man about it...'

I know what the guy was gettin at, it just sounds funny

What a sissy. That certainly didn't look like a punch to me. God...

Though, i do recall the time I spit on a midget at "Knotts Scary Farm" about 20 years ago. I was on a date and me and the girl I was with were checking out some midget "statues"...she swore up and down one of them was real. I told her "no way"...then the midget jumped at me. I was startled, so I hocked a big one right in his face. I don't know what made me do that...I guess it was either that or punching him.

I'm sure he was happy...he scurried back to his hiding place after that.

All of the Disney characters with costume covering their head are supposed to have escorts to help in such situations, because it really is difficult to manuever and see inside the costume. I'm sure it was an accident.

Hmm, when my wife and I had our pictures taken with Mickey in Hong Kong Disneyland, Mickey moved and bumped into me pretty hard. I never thought I should have considered pressing charges.

And did you hear this kid talk about how his neck was sore??? He had to have medical treatment??? This morning when I saw it, the kid would not even look at the camera when he was talking - looked very uncomfortable like my dad is making me do this. I could just see dollar signs in the dad's eye.

Okay... I'm probably one of the few that can give a first-hand experience related to this. I do mascot work. The major thing to understand is that you have very limited vision. You see a fraction of what you'd normally see, and that's when wearing a good suit (ie. one custom made for you as opposed to something worn by a park employee).

It's clear that the kid in the picture is doing -something- to the actor who is playing Tigger. My guess is this: Most costumes have a zipper or velcro in the back. Usually velcro these days, because if the actor overheats it's the easiest way to get the costume off quickly to avoid heat exposure problems. It looks like the kid is grabbing on to the back/side of the suit, possibly trying to pull on the costume. So the actor reached over to try to get the hand off him, reaching for the kid's shoulder and missed because he couldn't see well in that direction.

Seriously, we have to be so careful when doing this kind of work around any sort of children, and it's hard to be careful when you've got all your senses dulled. One of my friends was kicked in the head while trying to entertain some children. It not only broke the costume (which cost $500+) but injured her, yet the kid's family didn't seem to care. Yet if she had accidentally knocked him down, it would have been a lawsuit. It's ridiculus and makes it really hard for people to try to entertain kids in costume anymore.

Merf.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
