still no visa

Called the number to check on my fiance visa status and they said visa was issued on april 3

Funny because on the ceac site it states issued as of march 27.

Ima go with what the rep said but now how long is it till we get the visa

Our visa was issued on April 2 and i'm still waiting...

I called DomEx and they advised that they have not received it yet..

Let's hope that by the end of the week, our fiancé's will have their visas on hand.

Girl, I'm sick and tired of this wait, period.

I had my interview approved exactly six weeks ago today...

No, I checked the CEAC and it says issued as of april 2

and the embassy emailed us on Friday and said to contact DomEx everyday!

Oh, calling the embassy in DR is the worse thing ever...

They never know anything or they just tell you information you already know. Pretty irritating!

The best form of communication in getting the best answers is by email..

Try emailing them and ask them if your visa is in-route to the courier.

When you say "issued on March 10th", is this based off from the CEAC website or did you call and the embassy told you the visa was issued?

Just want to make sure i'm counting the days correctly..because since april 2, it's only been 3 days..

mine is issued since march 25th , 5 days later they called me and told me i had to go to windows 28 or 29 to take my bc i asked the lady who assisted me in the window 28 how long my visa take since i took my bc she said 4 or 6 weeks

Wow. That sucks I don't know why those people don't be on point when asking for documents.

U know the male who interviewed us forgot to have my fiance sign the ds 156k and he had approved us. Thank god I realized that before we left the facility and I went back to the window with my fiance and he then signed it. The xonsulate said thank u because it slipped his mind.

The slacking is a inconvience for us because it prolongs our wait. I hope ita sooner then 6 week for u.

you guys calling NVC at all? call in, punch option 3,

then ask if the visa packet was picked up by the courier

and

the current status and as/of date.

ceac status is wonky, but NVC folk see the same data that the Vice-Consuls see, with the real status.
