I sent my AR-11 off about 10 day’s ago. How can I verify that the USCIS has changed my address? Is there a number that I can call? Will they send a letter notifying me that they updated my address? It’s not possible for us to get an Infopass appointment, we live about 6 hours away from the closest office.

No they dont send an NOA for your change of address. Give the information line a call and make sure it has been updated in the system.

also others have more experience with this, but any pending application will not be updated through the AR-11.

AR11 does not update any pending applications.... you need to call the 0800 and tell them your new address also you can write to your local office sending a copy of your AR11 and requesting they update your address and forward any papers to your new local office.... also send a copy of the letter and AR11 to your new office asking them to update your address and request your papers be transfered from your old office..... next make sure your last name is on the mailbox and also make sure you have informed your new mail person that you are living at your new address and are expecting mail from USCIS...

Do all the above and you should get through the address change nightmare with out to much hassle...
