Hello everyone just want to ask if anyone had experience a medical here in HK as a requirement for fiance visa.?I'm only of in HK and waiting for notice to get medical and schedule for interview I just want to known cause my off is limited so if I can finish in half day.

Hey i'm in the process of booking medical right now for my K1 visa as well.

There are two locations you can do it in - mong kok or in central. the mong kok one is cheaper.

I am going to be doing it this afternoon - the medical center already told me that it would take three hours total. So depending on the timing, you might have to take half day.

I actually did my interview BEFORE they received my police certificate and my medical, which is fine, as they had an earlier interview slot opening up that they wanted to give away. So now, after I do my medical, I have to wait for the police to send the cert to the consulate, then they will call me to tell me they've received the cert, and then I can mail in my medical forms and my passport to get my visa processed. I don't think this process is the norm though, just what I am going through right now. The US consulate in HK is pretty relaxed

Just finished my medical yesterday - cost me about 1990$hkd total, yours might be less depending on if you have proof of pass vaccinations (the booklet - I lost mine so I had to get a couple).

It only took 1.5 hours overall, but the nurses had said that it was a slower day when I went.
