Question on medical tests

I do not have any records of vaccinations taken by me as a child.

During the medical test will they let me know what immunizations I need, or do I have to get them done before I go for the medical tests

You have the option of getting the vaccinations during medical (a more expensive option) or getting them from your family doctor or a vaccination clinic in your town. Just ask anyone with a small child. They can point you to a vaccination clinic in your town.

Also, please complete your Time Line. That helps all of us. If you already received your NOA2 you should join the rest of us waiting at NVC in the NVC Filers - April forum.

They will give you the vaccinations based on your age and so forth if you don't have any records with you. So its completely OK if you don't have any record with you. No big deal. It costed Rs 3000 for my wife (Medical +vaccinations) at Chennai.

Did she get any vaccines earlier or any before going for the medical? Or did they give the necessary vaccines there?

My wife did not have any record with her and didn't remember what she took years back so the doc at Apollo chennai gave her the vaccines needed for her age when she went for her medical.

Thanks for your reply. I have filled in my timeline.

I think you should keep calling NVC probably every other day now, because it is about time for you to receive your Case #, and IIN. Once you have your Case # and IIN you can go to the CEAC website, and keep checking if DS-261 (Choice of Agent) has become available and the AOS fee invoice has become available (usually takes a couple of days after the Case #).

Meanwhile review the NVC Guide for the rest of the NVC process.

A follow up to the vaccination requirements.....

Per USCIS website, they have a long list of vaccination requirements

Is it physically possible to get all these vaccinations in one setting during the medical examination? Has anyone done this before?
