missed biometrics for AOS and EAD

Hi to all. Need some advice about my AOS and EAD applications coz I missed my biometrics last April 3, 2014 because my husband was not feeling well. What should I do? Is my applications deny if I missed the biometrics? Thanks..

Why does your husband feeling well mean you miss biometrics?

He is not required to go.

Your application can be denied for missing biometrics.

Your appointment was on Thursday but you also did nothing Friday. You should have at least called them to reschedule.

You need to go to the biometrics place first thing Monday morning and hope they don't realize you didn't show up on Thursday yet. I would be there when the doors open, more important than calling first thing Monday.

he's the one who will drive me to that ASC office coz I cant drive. I called the uscis customer service and told me to send the original copy of my biometrics appointment for scheduling.

that's one approach.

I suggest another.

Drive in on Monday with the appointment letter,

beg the guard to let you in, citing illness prior,

then tell the clerks , nay, BEG the clerks,

to get you done late, as your spouse was ill and could not drive you.

If the walk in doesnt work try sending the appointment notice to reschedule, I missed my appointment because I was abroad, I sent the appointment notice with a letter explaining why I missed the appointment (not required but I thought it would be a good idea) I sent the rescheduling request on March 27th and got a new appointment in the mail on April 4th, my new appointment will be on April 22nd. Hopefully they take you in when you walk in
