Ok, just need a little help here. I've looked at multiple entries on this topic, but it appears maybe the form has changed some.

Part 3 of the i-864 .... I'm sponsoring my wife (k1) and son (k2). I understand that I don't need separate forms for both, but only a photocopy for my son (k2) who is 12.

It seems like I need to mark Yes in box 1, and also the box for 2... and then list my son (k2) as family member number 1. Is this correct?

I also see a lot about mentioning or listing the k2 in section 9.... but I don't see anything that relates to a k2 in section 9, just a place to enter my information as a sponsor..

Thanks

Lee

Part 3, you also check the box for #2 and list the child. #7 will then come out to 2 total immigrants being sponsored. Part 5 #1 will then be 2 when adding up your household size. There is nothing in Part 9 you need to fill out. Not sure what that K-2 guide here on VJ is referring to, but ignore that bit.
