I and my Fiance are currently on the process of scheduling my medical and interview here in US embassy Manila. My question is which requirements I need to gather first. Can someone tells me how much did you pay for scheduling your interview online? Because it's asking us to pay MRV 160$ in the BPI bank (which I am going to do tomorrow)? Do I need to pay another 350$ here in the Philippines while doing my processing? What is it for? All answer will be truly appreciated.

The K-1 visa fee is $240 (Paid in pesos) you print a deposit slip from ustraveldocs.com

http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

The complete process is in the link below, follow the flashing arrow.

If you are already done with the payment, you can sign up at ustraveldocs.com/ph and see if there are available. you can schedule interview at least 4 hrs after visa payment if you pay in the morning. so far, april and may are full but keep on looking if there can be open slots for the said months because some reschedule their appointments. interview confirmation will be sent to your email the moment you schedule your interview then you must print that.total of 4 pages. you may need that in your medical and important to bring also during interview at us embassy. Also, try reading hank_'s k1 guide. just click the flashing red arrow. It actually helps me :)

Thank You Gee and Hanks. You all have been helping me ao much. I will go to the bank and get paid it. Good luck to me. The soonest date I get, the better. Next question is, do I need to being any school clearance or transcript or records/diplomas to show in my interview?

To bring any school proofs I meant. I stopped my school last 2007 and did not continue after that. 1st year of college. If there's any school requirements and you please do tell me.

No you do not need transcripts for the interview.

Only need what is listed in the instructions letter, slow down and take the time to read it more then once,

When we scheduled our interview appt, the website gave us early March, until we put in our data, and then it gave us May 20 our real date.

The point is to not believe the date you get when you first load the website. Put in your data first and then you get the real dates they have

Definitely do not wait for your invitation letter from the embassy. You simply do not need it, and it may never even come.

One final thing: Even though K1 is a non immigrant visa some lists incorreclty put it in the immigrant category. As I recall printing the BPI deposit slip was one of those places. So look in immigrant list if you cant find it where it really belongs, the non immigrant list.

It is listed in the immigrant category because it is processed as an immigrant visa... I know, confusing at best.

Paid my Visa fee! Finally! Wait for four hours? I paid it 15mins before 10. What's the best time to encode it. About the schedule, I have read a forum saying some applicants doesnt know the trick of scheduling. The website will show up the closest date of interview on the left lower side. I'm sure it's not a fraud. My next question is, how to see that date and get it. I checked last night and the closest is on 21st of April. How could this be true? Anyone can justified it? I need to get the closest date as soon as possible. I really can't wait for four hours to be done.

I logged in to make interview schedule online. After filling up the details such as my personal information and passport information and types of Visa. What appears on my Visa Fee is 160$. I doubt. I should pay 240$. So I print out receipt of MRV 240$. This time I'm not logged in with my account. I paid to the bank today and gave back my customer copy. I paid exact 10am today. I logged in my account and about to enter my MRV receipt number. But I saw the 160$ again and it says my receipt number is not much to the amount that I should be paid.

Note: I am applying for K1 Visa. Please. Please. Help. I need to make schedule before the emd of today. Was it almost 4hours after since I paid?

For the 3rd time, you must of selected the wrong visa type with you created your account, you will need to contact the embassy by email to get this corrected - it will take a few days for the embassy to respond.

I would suggest you slow down some, relax, take a deep breath and read all the instructions again... slowly.

I updated my profile and choose immigrant and them K1. Now it gave me the proper MRV250$. I have entered the receipt as well after I corrected it. Do you think it can affect my data system?

Which embassy should I need to contact? The US Embassy here in Manila? I just changed my Visa type twice I think. I'm not sure now since things making me confused. It's hard to find people who can give me the right advice and give the right advice on time. :(

Is there any 24/7 hotline number of the US Embassy so I can call them now?

Or should I E-mail them instead?
