Every case is different.

Anywhere from 2 days to 2 years, best guess.

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding

I understand there are no specific "rules" for the length of the wait, but I was hoping some members would chime in that have recently gone through it on how long it took them to get through Administrative Processing.

we had AP , click my profile (or my name or the girls) to see the roadmap with dates.

november, you say? something's amiss. you can check in with GUZ IV via their email webform

or

engage at a Congressman's office, the constituent-liason human who is handling the Immigration Liason Staffer (ILS) duties, and have them inquire.

I was actually considering the politician route, as much as I have always not liked that idea. So it is a Congressman, not US Senator? Or can I approach both?

Last email GUZ contact back in December said to contact them again at 150 days if haven't heard anything. 150 days (from interview) is right around the corner.

150 days? the only reason it might have taken 'so long' is something related to CCP-ness,

as

everything else one might get dinged for can be easily handled...

Congressman = A Member of the House of Representatives or a Member of the Senate. Where you stand/sit/live/breath/eat/sleep , at the moment, there are 3 Congressmen that will do something on your behalf. [2 senators and 1 member of the House]. I tell folk this - call around, talk to the 3 different offices, ask how long the ILS human has been there and doing that job. IMO, experience matters.

eh - relax - I'm having a feckless Monday on a campus, doing outreach to homeless veterans and managing to keep up with my biology studies. Fun, I tell you, Fun ! Still, if I seemed a bit harsh, I account for it by today being a feckless Monday...

I was not at all mad - actually was quite appreciative of the information you provided. My bad if I worded it in a way that seemed critical. I was trying to make fun of my failure to remember that Congress includes both the House and the Senate.

Hey - if you need any Biology help, well, that was my major in college (light years ago).

I would be inquiring at GUZ at least every two weeks. Historically 3-6 months is a typical range. After six months, I would be inquiring with your congressman.
