Hi guys,

I tried to search the threads for an answer but I was hoping for some clarification.

My wife just got a new job offer and she went to put in her 2 weeks notice today with her previous job, and will start her new job directly after the 2 weeks ends, so there will be no gap in employment. She's had steady work history at her current job for the past 3 and a half years. This new job pays more and has benefits but still makes a few hundred below the 125% poverty line for 2 people. However, we have a co-sponsor who make almost 3 digits annually.

My questions are:

1. Will my wife changing jobs affect my AOS?

2. Would we have to fill out or file a new I-864?

3. Would we just have to bring a new pay-stubs and an employment letter to our interview in addition to the old information from the previous job?

Insight appreciated!

You can bring the new info with a new I-864 to the interview, but since you have a co-sponsor I don't think it will be needed. I do hope your co-sponsor makes more than 3 digits annually :)

Hi Erica, it says on the interview letter to bring a letter from the current employer stating hours & hourly pay & pay stubs for the last 2 months,

i hope this helps.
