On the 26th of march my husband received a mail from NVC stating my case No. and also that my petition has been forwarded to lagos consulate and the next day he gave NVC a call and they confirmed that my package has been shipped to lagos and days later precisely 3rd April he received a mail from the the Lagos office that my interview has been scheduled for june that i should fill out DS160 form and contact NVC for my invoice No. they also attached the interview prep package as attachment to the mail. Now question and confusion is;

1. i just got my approval for both my I130 and I129f 3/3/14 does it mean that i am on the K3 path not the CR-1 ( cos i read here on VJ that k3 is obsolete and will be merged to the CR-1 path)

2. is there anyone here with same situation if yes what fees do we need to pay with the invoice No. given to us by NVC AOS or visa processing fee.

3. will i get any other package or is it just the email i will use to schedule my medical and also go for my interview.

i will really appreciate positive response.

Thank you.

Yes you r on the K3 path so read up on the consular information page on Nigerian portal and prepare as you would for a K1.

Hopefully they won't close it. Some recent K3's were closed days before interview but just prepare .
