K-1 in hand! 2-way ticket required?

Hey there,

My fiancee received her visa today! Yay!

Now, do we need to buy a round trip ticket for her, or is a 1 way sufficient? We don't want to buy a 1 way and have it not be enough.

A round-trip ticket is not required to enter the US with a K-1 visa.

Round trip is not required. Get the one that is the cheapest. One way tickets can be expensive..Good luck!

Some had mentioned that they had issues with having a roundtrip ticket where the return leg was not utilized. I am not sure whether it is true, however it is something to be aware of.

I booked our tickets today and the one way was about half the price of my roundtrip ticket, which was sort of surprising, although it wasn't that way with other airlines.
