Hi all,

here is where i am, i have my police report, GP getting my vaccination records this week i hope and i have my medical on the 10th next Thursday.

I'm off to the US on the 17th to 4th may for a trip to collect i-134 from fiancee and co sponsor.

When would be a good time to send my Notification of Applicant's Readiness Form and pay for interview ?? Also ceac status is 'ready'.

Thanks

Paul

The guide says go for medical then do the readiness form but the form a question of 'date of medical' so im assuming it can be sent before or after medical ;-)

I think most people for london submit the readiness form when they have a) a date BOOKED for the medical and b) everything else ready to show at interview... i don't see why you couldn't wait to submit your readiness form until after your scheduled medical if you really were not 'ready' with your paperwork... they will not schedule your interview until they have 1) your ds-160, 2)your medical paperwork sent from knightsbridge, and 3)your readiness form... i don't think it matters as much what order you sent them in, but rather that they have received and processed all three- then they issue you a date... they used to let you schedule the medical and interview close together or same day but now they won't give you an interview until they receive the medical form...

I think i will do the medical on Thursday and do readiness form just before my trip to texas on the 17th.

Thanks

In post 4 from the London guide:

NOTES:

The order for medical and readiness form are interchangeable. If you have all your documents, you can submit the Notification of Applicant's Readiness before you actually attend the medical.

(I agree with that since I wrote it.)

Hi,

When I fill out the readiness form on the above link, is it a online form as it says submit ?? Also has anyone had any recent knowledge of how long it takes for the interview date to arrive after you submit the form ?

Also I haven't had my first letter from embassy or packet 3 yet, I think I maybe getting ahead of myself as I have submitted DS-160, Medical on Friday this week.

Sorry I'm getting a bit lost even with the guide.

Thanks

Paul

P.S thank you for your help Nick :-)
