Hi everyone! I sent my N-400 on March 6,2014 and got my NOA March 13,2014. Then checked the USCIS website it says On March 19, 2014, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken. Please follow the instructions on the notice.....but until now I'm still waiting for it in the mailbox. pls. help..anybody had experience ?

I received the FP letter 14 days after I mailed the N-400 package. Hang in there. You should receive yours by Monday. Where is you local USCIS office?

NATURALIZATION

02/25/2014 - Eligibility date.

03/03/2014 - N-400 package mailed.

03/11/2014 - Check cashed.

03/14/2014 - NOA received.

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

MY IMMIGRATION JOURNEY IS OFFICIALLY FINISHED!!

It's really much better for you to call the USCIS because my N-400 was sent March 5, 2014 and I am scheduled for my biometrics this Monday, April 7. You should be receiving that appointment notice. I got an email/text my bio letter was mailed out Feb 21st and it didn't arrive until March 15th!!

The envelope said it was mailed on March 12th...

So I had the same experience as you that they said they mailed something but they really didn't mail until about 3 weeks later. I hated that they stressed me out for nothing... needless to say USCIS was useless n said i had to wait 30 days before they could do ANYTHING. But at the 21 day mark I got my letter.

Hang in there! You should get it soon if not you will have to wait out the 30 days before they will do something. Good luck!!

Also when they mailed out my interview letter they said it was such date that they mailed it when really it was almost a week later that they actually mailed it. So I can't rely on this alerts anymore...

I suggest you call USCIS and talk to a Tier 2 Officer. If they already sent you the letter, per the USCIS email, this officer can see in their system the exact date of your biometric appointment. This is just to make sure that you will not miss it, in case it your letter is lost in the mail or something. They will fax a copy of the bio letter if your schedule is indeed a few days from now.

01-11-2014 N-400 Packet Sent

01-17-2014 Check cleared

01-24-2014 Received NOA dated 01/14 in the mail

02-20-2014 1st Service Request created for delayed biometric appointment letter

03-01-2014 Received 'yellow' letter in the mail

03-28-2014 2nd Service Request created since the 1st request had no response from the assigned Service Center

04-07-2014 Received biometric appointment letter in the mail

04-25-2014 At last, my biometric appointment!!!!

06-09-2014 Interview - recommended for approval!

07-17-2014 Oath Ceremoney USCIS-Orlando Office! I'm A United States Citizen

I called yesterday but the customer service representative was just saying what it says on the website that they mailed my appointment notice March 19,2014 and she said it's gonna be 30 days from March 19..if I will not receive next week I will call again and talk to a Tier 2 officer.. Thanks island_Princess
