is it really true that NOA2 has expiration?i have a friend that still in philippines she already have MCN the problem is her F is jobless at the moment so she didnt get any schedule for interview nor medical coz shes still waiting for her F to get a job.now shes worried about what will happen to her application when her NOA2 expire.

The NOA2 form states the validity date for the approval notice. Looking at mine that time is four months. I'm assuming that you can contact the embassy in your country to find out if an extension is possible. I've read on other threads that a new letter of intent may have to be written once the NOA2 expires. Best wishes.

yes, noa2 is valid for 4 months. her F can file for an extension of noa2 at the embassy, but giving the fact that her F is unemployed atm, they should try and find a cosponsor (that is if the embassy allows cosponsors)

Does your boyfriend needs to have job? My boyfriend doesn't have job. But he has money from the bank. But they said, he still needs to have an income. Does his investment not enough?

The petition can (most times, will) be extended automatically by the embassy for up to a year, you do not have to contact them. Have her at least create a profile on https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/

hi!! im already here in US as long as he can prove that he can provide and support you i think youll be fine ,not sure though .but in my friend's case they dont have enough money to support her so they wait just to make sure .
