It has been more than 45 days since I sent out my 130 Packet on Novemeber 15th. They cashed my check a few days later, but I still havent received any response or notice of receipt. Should I worry???? Is there a number I can call for help on this??? I sent it the Texas Service Center. I am in Florida. I am applying for a k3 Visa. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Get a copy of the canceled check. On the back of that check is your case number, which can be used to track the status of your case online as follows:

You can track your status at the USCIS site. If you don't yet have an account set up, set it up here:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

Follow the instructions for setting up a new account.

Thanks so much, I was able to retrieve the case number from the check. They received the case on Nov 21. But it says that my case is in the California Service Center, I originally sent it to the Texas Service Center. Is this normal??? Also they have the CST Service number as 1800-375-5283 is there a better number to call and not have to hold so long, last time I called I was on hold for 36 minutes and gave up then.

It is completely normal that your case was transferred to CSC. All K3 petitions are now processed either in California or Vermont, but we are still supposed to file them at the old addresses.

Unfortunately that is the only number to call - the waiting time to speak to someone really varies, I believe Mondays and Tuesdays are the worst. If I were you I would call and confirm that they have your correct address since you didn't get your NOA1 - I would also check with your mail carrier to make sure that your name is on the box, as that has been known to cause issues with mail from USCIS.

Good luck!

Sandy

Awesome, Thanks so much with the quick replies. I will be givng them a call hopefully tommorow. I will need to verify whats going on with my address because I havent received anything from them, but its weird since I receive all of my other mail. I will update as soon as I know. Do they resend the NOA1 if I request it? I would like to have all paperwork that I can, and would like to get my 129f packet started. Once again thanks for your help.
