Has anyone used this site to book a place to stay when visiting Naija?

www.makeitnigeria.com

They are an online vacation rentals agency but have no physical address so I want to know if it's a valid agency.

So many scams that one has to be careful. Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

Let your spouse physically go book a place for you. It's more reliable that way.

I agree 100%.

hey thanks for that link...that was one I had lost....they are pretty accurate in terms of what they would charge u there as a nigerian. I had looked them up and had husband go look at it and yup same price....tho some of the descriptions of the hotel were not accurate...but they aren't usually accurate here

Thanks, all! Yes hubby is here in U.S. with me the last 3 years and we are finally making our first trip back since he came with our baby. But we can still have his brother who lives back in Naija check some places out. Will check out the above link. Thanks, again!

the Chairman of SafeLand Hotel in Ojokoro area is very accomidating. the hotel charged us N5,600 a day (about $30) and he made sure everything worked. it isn't a fancy hotel, but it has fans and AC, a pool, and the people there are nice and they made sure i always had electricity and AC, at all times. he even went out and bought a "soft" matress and a plasma tv for our room. (room 505)

My Husband can talk to you and arrange your stay if you wish.

We are really looking for a furnished, vacation rental apartment to accommodate me, my husband and our 2 kids. But it's good to know that hotels like this exist! Thank you for your response. :)
