I've been doing a search for immunization information. Some of the info I have found dates back to 2007, so I want to make sure I have the most up-to-date info.

My fiance's forms either have not age appropriate or not readily given on his immunization card. His Hep B is not readily given, and the not age appropriate shots include varicella (chicken pox) and all but MMR, Dt, and Meningococcal (?). Will he need to have the Hep B and the varicella if he hasn't had it (or the actual chicken pox)? Will he be okay on the other not age appropriate shots, or should we also take care of that?

He isn't in the states yet, so we haven't had to go to a civil surgeon yet. I'm trying to get a jump on the game. Sorry if this is a worn out topic but thanks for your help!

Some vaccinations are not age appropriate, and they will be marked off on the DS-3025 as such. Check this post > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

These are the required vaccinations by age > http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html#tbl1

If he had a chicken pox when he was a child, he doesn't need one anymore. The doctor told me, if I had not chicken pox when I was a child, I will need get the vaccination. I got MMR from the clinic, Hepatitis B (covered by medical bills from the company where I was worked), and that's all. Some members said, better to get all vaccinations are done while in your countryside rather than after came to the US since medical bills here are pricey.

Thanks for this link. It's just what I needed. There was another one posted in a different thread, but it didn't lead me to this spot. I appreciate it!

Looks like he has aged out of all the shots they didn't give him at his medical in Cairo, so we should be set with this part of our AOS application.

Have a great weekend all!
