DCF London Embassy Credit Card Form

Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this issue. My husband and I have submitted our forms for the Direct Consular Filing in London. The day after went sent in our paperwork my credit card company notified me that there had been a compromise in their security and they would be sending new credit cards with different numbers soon. Obviously this means that the credit card number we put on our form for payment will not go through.

I've been trying to contact the consulate as to notify them about the change. They've said they can only take payment forms via mail. I haven't been able to get a response as to the next step. Do I simply send a new Credit Card Payment Form with the updated information to their London office? Or do I need to resubmit all of the forms? I don't have a case number to put as reference as it's still in the early stages. Should I attach a letter alongside to explain the sole form?

Any suggestions or information would be SO WELCOME! I am a bit overwhelmed by the whole process.

Well I'm sure there are plenty of cases where credit cards are declined. It's only a guess on my part, but they may send you a sort of RFE asking for a different form of payment and then you should be able to use the new number. Without a case number of any kind I don't see how they can link it up with your file.

(I'm hoping me responding will kinda bump this thread up so others with more experience will finally answer)
