Couple of silly questions (I-765 & I-131)

Hi there,

I am currently putting together my AOS packet. But I have two possibly silly questions.

1. In the I-765 it states I should include documentation including identity documents and 2 colour photographs. My question is should I include FOUR photographs (two for the I-485 and two for the I-765) or will two suffice. Also it will be filed at the same time just to clarify.

2. I would like to apply for a I-131 just in case something happens but as of right now I have no plans or real reason to leave the country. On the form it states that I should have an intended date and reason for travel, what should I put in these boxes or should I apply for one later should something arise (like an illness)

When we did my husband's, we left the dates empty and under reason for travel, we just put "In case of Emergency". It was approved, no problem. We only sent in 2 pictures.

You need to include the required documents for EACH application. If you file the I-765 and the I-485, you will include FOUR photos. If you also file the I-131, you will include a total of SIX photos.

Some folks have left the "intended trip date" blank, others (like us) put in a tentative travel date. ... The result was the same...I-131 approval.

We included six (6) photos, some get by with less. It likely depends on the whim of the adjudicator. We didn't want any RFEs. YMMV.
