NVC process - Planning to leave US for 2 months

Hi,

I am the petitioner for my spouse and currently we are waiting i130 to be approved.

I filed i130 on 1/3/2014 and expect it to be approved sometime in June (fingers crossed!), however I am planning to go back to Taiwan for my formal wedding from August to October, and my case will most likely be in NVC phase that time, since both my spouse and I will be out of US that time, I am wondering will NVC mail any important notifications or documents to my US address during the NVC process? Hopefully all the NVC tasks can be completed by email/mail from Taiwan.

I know I can always complete the NVC process when I am back in October, but I really don't want to delay the process.

I live with my wife too and what I did was bring all the documents required for the AOS and IV packet i.e. Birth certificates, marriage certificate, tax transcripts, if you have a joint sponsor..joint sponsors proof of US citizenship like his/her birth certificate, biographic page of passport. For all the correspondents we need from NVC, we got it through email but calling NVC will always be the most reliable way to know how your case is moving. I proved it to be very important to follow up calling NVC several times especially after you got your approval, you would want to know that NVC has acknowledged receiving your case from USCIS.
