If my husband told me to abort our child, Im not sure I could love him in the same way again. I would say goodbye to him, and hello to single parenthood. That said the decision is between the two of you. As Harpa said, Immigration is not a reason to abort. And as others have said, hire a new attorney. I wish you lots of luck for whatever the future holds.

Abortion is never an option. If I'll be in your case if if I need to wait 2more yrs to be reunited with my husband, I'll do it as long as I keep my baby. It's just so wrong! Babies are angels.

The only thing you can do while under AP is wait. Hopefully it will be over in 2 months instead of 10. Just keep calling the embassy every 30 days.

Not much more you can do. Abortion is a very personal issue and only you can make this decision.

As far as abortion - do what you want, don't listen to people on here telling you what to do one way or the other - get a better lawyer though, and thoroughly consider the outcomes of having the abortion/not having the abortion given your circumstances.

Abortion is a very personal and private matter and should be left for the husband and wife to decide. I think the question is if having a baby would delay her process. I don't recall any case like this before but I would think an I-130 would be submitted for the baby. I hope someone with more experience or knowledge provide a clear answer.

OP AP can take a week to years, don't make a decision this big based on the process. I'm not sure when your husband can be a citizen but that would also make your baby a citizen and he/she would not need anything but the US passport to come with you. Good luck

Sometimes people say things without thinking about how it will affect the other person. I believe that your husband made a statement in haste and his main thought was to do whatever it takes to have you in the USA with him.

My hubby and I went through AP back in 2007 and it lasted for two years. Needless to say, our petition expired and we decided to get married. You never know how AP will work out for you. There is no set time for AP. I hope that you will hear something soon.

help me i am very confuse.je am the wife of a permanent resident I did my interview February 20, 2014 and the consular officer has placed me under administrative processing and he told me that the file can 2 or 10 months it depends it can not tell me exactly when I have the visa admissibilité their review unit will make investigations on my marriage if it is a real marriage I'm not worried about it because it is a true marriage the problem is that my husband came with me to one month and now I'm pregnant my husband called the attorney who handles the file if pregnant will delay my case the lawyer said that his will delay my file I'll wait until I give birth and will set aside the petition that my husband should deposit two petitions for the baby and me it may take 2 YEARS yet so my husband told me to abort and bottom of I do not want me but it is the only solution.

Can someone give me advice AP is very painful

AP has no set time limit, and they won't tell you what they're doing or how long it will take. Pregnant or not will have no bearing on how long AP takes.

False.

In this case I would say it's not an option. And as u see I put there if I am with the situation, I never said its everybody's opinion. And I believe if u choose between waiting longer or the keeping the baby, I value more the baby. And as I said, IF I AM WITH THE SITUATION.

"so my husband told me to abort" ?? "being a father is what my husband desire most"

Is it me or something is not adding up? What kind of husband is this? That baby might be the more reason why your case might be even easier. Listen keep the baby even if it means years of delay. Period!
