If you're going to be going the AOS route then I don't you'll have to do any x-ray.

Yes X-rays for TB test are country dependent but in the case of Canada, I don't think they do it even with a false positive result.

I was pregnant when I went in for my medical (still am pregnant) and I went in with my complete record of vaccines so that helped A LOT! Because this is the only main critical issue with the immigration medical, getting vaccines. If you are pregnant and you're missing vaccinations on your record card you show them then they will not be able to administer any vaccines to you while you're pregnant. The only vaccines that were allowed for me were trap and the flu vaccine and everything else I showed proof that I had those already. They also just did a blood test for TB.

Good luck!!

Could be country dependent. Certain TB vaccines (BCG) will give a false positive.

When I was born, I had to get the BCG vaccine, so when I did my medical exam I opted for a blood test for TB. Came back negative and that was the end of that.

this might be tmi but i wanted to update you all with what's going on... i had lost the baby. I don't think we were ready and i;m under way too much stress so maybe it was for the better. I would love to have a baby once all this immigration stuff is finalized and after our "wedding" reception (planning is stressful but fun!). but thank you for all your help. I'm sure this information will come in handy to someone out there. :)
