I can't check my status on line

Hi All,

I am just wondering whether it takes time between noa1 and putting the application into the auto online system. Everytime I tried to check in USCIS.gov, it said the receipt number can not be found at this time. Has anyone had same problems?

same here, i recived my NOS last week dated December 29th and i still cannot check my status online.

Ok, maybe it takes time to put it in to the system or their system is down??? Anyways, it makes me feel better that I am not the only one. I will let you know when I can check it online.

thanks, i will do the same and let you know when mine works. i check mine 5 times a day on average to see if it works. btw, i once read in a post that some people actually called the 1800 number to inform them that it the online status did not work. i tried calling them the other day but i was put on hold for half an hour so i finally gave up.

it seems we both have the same time line for filing AOS and EAD, so I added you as a friend to keep track of the process of your application and kinda guess about mine.

There are several posts about this floating around in this forum. It can take several days or even a week or two for your case to be available online, even after you've received your NOA1. Calling the 800 number won't help, they can't do anything about anything basically. Just keep checking, it'll work eventually

mine still does not work. does yours start with MSC which is the missouri service center and did they have any touches on your case ???

I can check my status online now. for anyone reading this post in the future, i guess it take a week or so for your case to be available online.

Guys....it takes a few weeks to get the number into their system. Give it a couple weeks...check again. It *will* be there.

After filing AOS, AP and EAD, my wife's AOS was updated only two times. Once when they had received the case and the second when Missouri received the case. AP and EAD were never updated and my wife has already been approved for AOS.

We just received out receipt for the I 129, 2 days ago, I tried yesterday morning and it wouldn't come up, but it did last night.
