Remember that there is a big difference with CSC (very fast 2weeks-3 months) versus TSC which takes longer (about 5 +month).

As mentioned earlier, I think the fact that some of our partners reside in the Philippines does make a big difference. It seems like the USCIS is still prioritizing those petitions even though the majority of applicants weren't impacted by Typhoon Haiyan. I was in Manila during the storm and there was little impact here.

Of course, absolutely. However, there are several petitions that were from other countries at CSC and they also were approved with

the speed of lightning.

I hope nobody gets the Texas Lockbox and Texas service center mixed up either, there are quite a few members who got that mixed up,

thinking they are at TSC flying through when it is CSC instead.

Congrats, but I must ask if you are certain the TSC processed your petition? Everyone (I believe) sends their petitions to the Texas lockbox, which is not the TSC. They then forward (not transfer) it to the appropriate service center and with you living in California, I would suspect it was actually processed by the CSC.

What were the first 3 letters of your case if I may ask?

You did not send your petition to TSC but to a Texas lock box. You are being processed at California service center.

This is what I am talking about in my post above, people get this mixed up all the time.

That is CSC. TSC would be SRC. Would you mind taking a moment to correct your timeline? Much appreciated and congrats again.

If you received an email regarding the receipt and acceptance of your petition, it would have mentioned where it was forwarded. Take a look at mine below:

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Texas Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX

Like you, I was unaware of the significance, at the time, of the SRC/WRC prefix but it did state where it was going as highlighted above.

WAC refers to the West.. Vermont used to take care of the eastern side.. EAC.. now those petitions go to the Texas Service Center .. SRC

Hello everyone... Just want to ask, what date do you use as NOA1? is it the date you receive an email notification that they received your package? The date you get the hard copy letter? or the date the Alien Registration number was changed?

You would use the date on the NOA1 hard copy that they sent to you via mail. That is your filing date

If you go to your timeline and click edit you will see a little "question mark / help finding your NOA date." (Under the petition filed

heading).

Click on it and you will see an example form which tells you that your NOA1 and NOA2 correct dates are the NOTICE DATE

on the hard copy.
