Hi There!

Here is a guide for K1 Visa process/paperwork/forms etc.... this guide helped me a lot when I first began my own process. I did have a lawyer helping me in the beginning but that doesn't mean that I understood all that I needed to do. I have been more informed from using all the information given on VJ and asking for help from my VJ community members than using my lawyer. You can always search for the answers on Google search for any topic. Good luck!

Thank you all, you put me on the right pat...

Your welcome! We've all been in your shoes at one point in our process too. It can get overwhelming, frustrating and exhausting...but ask if your not sure and someone here will either know the answers or know someone who knows the answers and will respond. Its like reaching back to help and lift those that are still behind as we move forward. Just relax and know that its a process, I'm talking from a person who can't sleep over this process but I've learned to relaxed( at least somewhat)!

I hope you've had a chance to update your timeline so we can have a better understanding where you are in the process and can help you better too.

Hi All - Our NOA 1 was 4/28 and ARN was 5/1 but we haven't seen any movement since then. We're at the California processing center and seeing the all posts about people getting approved in under 20 days has me worried. Is it worth a phone call to see what's up or will I just get bounced because it hasn't been 5 months?

You could call, but I doubt they would tell you much. I have close to the same timeline as you (NOA1 was a few days before I think) and only got NOA2 a few days ago and others seem to still be waiting.

It is not fun, but I think all you can do is wait. It does not seem like they do these applications in order...

Hopefully it comes soon for you though!

I'm sorry, but it's only been a month & a half for you. Technically, they have 5 months to look at it. Try being at Texas. I filed before you & I'll be lucky if I get my noa2 in September. You'll get approved soon...you're in Cali.

I am the petitioner.
