all of you who have a May interview in Mumbai... The link is working now.

Are you all on there as per your scheduled appointment by the NVC? How about folks who got the interview during the second phase? My case # isn't on the list :-(

Yeah, and that's a bit scary. however, since my interview schedule happened on the second round wondering if it didn't get updated on time. Once our case is delivered to the consulate, I'll call them to confirm.

Really hopping there is no screw up... :unsure:

My wife has her medical a few days ago at Max (in delhi). It went smoothly, just two vaccination shots (DPT and one other) and an x-ray. Apparently, there was about 30-40 mins of waiting time even though she had an appointment. Not too bad. Will update more once she has her biometrics done.


Will any of you be attending your spouses interview? I plan on being there. Just wondering if they'll ask more question or if it is helpful for the applicant.

Can you please share your biometrics and interview experience? Is it fine to schedule biometrics only a day before interview? I also have interview at same consulate.

My wifes visa approved today. Interview experience is on my timeline.

Congrats! I hear Mumbai Consulate allows only the person being interviewed into the Consulate. Is there any place near the Mumbai consulate where the person accompanying can wait?

Just find a coffee shop and hang in there till she/he comes out. Yes Mumbai does not allow accompanying petitioner in.

Haven't found a cafe coffee day or something like that. But if you are ready to pay premium for a coffee than you could wait at the BKC hotel coffee shop. Majority of them just waited at the sidewalk opposite to the consulate for their relatives/spouse to come out. Those 2hrs do seem long.

Actually, a Starbucks franchise will work better. I just heard they are expanding in India.
