Hi guys just checked the processing times on the USCIS website and as at February 28, 2014 TSC - 6.4 months, NSC - 5 months, CSC - 5.9 months and VSC - 5 months. I was expecting the processing time for TSC to drop lower than that, danggggg, tired of waiting!

RFE - May 06, 2014

RFE Hard Copy Received - May 12, 2014 (2 passport size photo for the petitioner)

RFE Sent - May 15, 2014

NOA 2 - May 29, 2014

National Visa Center

NVC Received - 18/06/2014

Fill out DS - 261 Form & submit - 08/07/2014

Pay AOS Fee - 25/07/2014

Send AOS Package - 02/08/2014

NVC Receive AOS Package - 04/08/2014

Receive IV Bill - 28/08/2014

Send IV Package - 28/08/2014

Pay IV Bill - 30/08/2014

Case Complete - October 21, 2014

Interview Date - December 05, 2014 rescheduled from December 29, 2014

Hi guys, we finally sent in our petition yesterday (April 2)..and from the looks of what Ingrid post, then I'm estimating that you guys will be hearing something anytime soon. Based on that processing timeline, we probably won't hear anything until about September. But guess what, nothing is impossible with God so I'm going to be hopeful that we will get to NVC long before September.

Keep up your hopes up.

April 2, 2014: I-130 Filed with Chicago Lockbox

April 7, 2014: Packaged received by USCIS

April 8, 2014: Received NOA 1

Sept. 17, 2014: Received NOA 2. Case APPROVED with no RFEs

Oct. 17, 2014: Case # Assigned by NVC (Same day case was received, according to Julian # calculation)

Oct. 21, 2014: Received letter from NVC

Oct. 22, 2014: DS-261 completed and submitted to NVC

Oct. 31, 2014: Paid AOS invoice


Dec 08, 2014: Sent in IV & AoS packages

Dec 11, 2014: Package received by NVC

Dec 12, 2014: Received email from NVC acknowledging receipt. I assume this is our scan date

Dec 25, 2014: Paid IV bill

Dec 29, 2014: Funds deducted from bank account. DS-260 became available, and was completed

Dec 30, 2014: Submitted DS-260

Feb. 12, 2015: Case Complete with NO checklist! whoot, whoot!

Mar. 25, 2015: Received P4. Interview

April 29,2015: Completed medical examination

May 13, 2015: Interview Date APPROVED :dancing:

May 19, 2015: Received Package

Oct. 22, 2015: Travelled to my new home :) (In order to get IR-1 Green Card) Expiration date on IR-1/CR-1 Visa - Oct. 29, 2015

Nov 10, 2015: Received Social Security Card

Jan 4, 2016: LPR Green Card arrived.

I am happy that your petition was sent in, you gonna feel more anxious now that it's in, am speaking from experience, lol, but we all will get there :dancing:

Lol! Thanks Ingrid, I'm already anxious. I'm waiting with baited breath for hubby to text me saying he got text/email that they received his packet. But I can never understand why an I-130 application (for spouse especially) takes 5-7 months at USCIS..then another 5/6 months at NVC. Its beyond me.

Take comfort in the fact that your file is in line for processing...and the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel. But I understand full well what it feels like. I'm in constant contact with my husband 24/7 and that is what help to ease the anxiety sometimes.

I was told not to believe what you see on their site. It takes at least 9 to 12 months at USCIS for I-130 approval!!!! Good luck.

You're right about not believing what you see on their site, because I choose to believe that my case will not sit at USCIS for 12 months. Mash down that lie in the name of Jesus. We are trusting God to take us through this entire process in less time than the "system" says.

I dont care what no one thinks. .I know my God can do the impossible, and He is still in the business of creating miracles.
