For the most part yes. I've never met someone who wanted to wage war against Americans. Most of them just want to worship in peace and live their lives without being called all types of slurs watched by the Government because they wear Islamic garbs.

Neither have I. And I know exactly what you're talking about being harassed all the time. My wife and airport - it's almost comical. She's always pulled aside for the hand swab - you know, where they check for explosives residue. She'll be checked every time. Without fail. You know that Horn of Africa is just packed with terrorists. I lovingly call her my little terrorist now. The only time in recent memory where she was spared was when we went through security at DFW with a bunch of Muslim women in full garb coming through security at the same time. The focus was all of a sudden not my wife. Wonder why...

As am I. As for the lookout on Muslims - they're on the lookout for my wife even though she isn't a Muslim. She's an orthodox Christian like most Ethiopians. But then again, most of the TSA agents - or most Americans generally - probably can't tell an Ethiopian from a Somalian. So erring on the side of caution, we rather harass them east African Christians as well.
