I am currently putting my package together and have read so many conflicting views on what should be sent for evidence of the relationship. Anyone who has been approved please help me out and share what you included?

I really want to avoid getting an RFE so any help would be much appreciated.

You should try to gather some photos, email conversations, phone call logs, cards, (notarized) letters from friends/family to validate your relationship.

We have photos, passport stamps, boarding passes but we never call each other, everything is over skype, whatsapp and facetime.

I have read that emails and cards are not seen as strong evidence?

The VJ Guides are very clear on what evidences are best and suggested. No conflicts.

Same with me, except Facebook instead of Facetime.

All your evidences, when put together, are what tell the tale. Skype meeting and Facetime do not qualify for the meeting in person within the past 2 years prior to the filing date. Maybe you are confused about the meeting requirement.

Emails and that used as part of the evidence package required to show a legitimate relationship, which is only needed for the interview, not for the initial filing.

But since you asked......our evidences of our meeting in person included the following:

Plane Boarding pass copies

Passport Stamp copies

Rental Apartment agreement listing the dates, address and in my name.......and a pizza delivery receipt listing the same apartment address, date and in her name.

Photos of us in front of well-known landmarks

Currency exchange receipts with dates and city name

Famous restaurant receipt plus a photo of us in said location

I really want to avoid getting an RFE so any help would be much appreciated.

Everyone has different when comes to ensemble their I-129F package. But overall, most of them have followed guide on VJ. As myself, I will give you list what my fiance sent for petitioned me. We got approved in 38 days without an RFE.

  • Form I-129F (signed and dated by petitioner)
  • G-325A (beneficiary and petitioner, signed and dated). Make sure you send this form. Someone sent G-325 form instead, very identical, and got RFE for this.
  • Passport photo size ( petitioner and beneficiary)
  • Letter intent of marry (petitioner and beneficiary, signed and dated)
  • Proof of having met within 2 years: passport visa stamps (forgot to include biographical pages), copy of our boarding passes, and 10 pictures together. We did not send itinerary tickets plane, no credit card billing statement showing expenses in Singapore ( we were decided to meet in another country).
  • We also sent our first conversations on YouTube, described how he contact me at first time, emails from both of us were spanned randomly from 2008-2013 (I've only chose 10 emails from hundreds pages), my Skype subscription calls. He doesn't have Facebook account, he never had any other social networking accounts or we did not meet through dating website, so these things we have only sent.

If you are talking about needing evidence for meeting within two years of petitioning, then you would include things like boarding passes, hotel receipts, pictures of you two together, passport stamps. Basically something that will put you in the same place at the same time after April of 2012 (presuming you send it this month). The "evidence of the relationship" is for the interview at the embassy. That's when you'd need things like Skype call records (I took screenshots of our chat history), whatsapp texting, Facebook posts, other pics taken between filing and interview, cards, gifts, other receipts, etc. People sometimes frontload their petitions, but it's not mandatory.

Edited to include: For our petition, I included these things: copy of my stamped passport showing entry into Ireland, hotel receipts for the stay and for meals there, pictures from our Dublin ghost tour (pictured in front of the bus which reads, "The Dublin Ghost Tour"), receipt for the tickets purchased for the tour, copy of hockey tickets purchase in his name with a receipt of a hockey jersey I purchased at the game (both showing the same date). I (foolishly!) threw out my boarding pass, but I was able to contact Aer Lingus and get confirmation from them that I bought and used my airline tickets on my travel dates.
