Hello people . My parents petition was filed on march 1st 2013 and we havent heard back yet :( this is way out of processing time.. 13 months. Their casewas transfered from nbc. To texas service center in nov . We are in contact with senator he did inquired 3 times and updated us that they bakcground checks have been completed and the file is ready was a decision at officers desk its been 2 months to it but Nothing nothing yet!,,

Whta should we do?

We are thinking about suing uscis for so much delay.. Anything we can do to get a decision? This is so frustrating

Are there any approvals from texas for parents category?

Hi, I had the somewhat same problem I also pettitioned for my parents at the end of march or at the beggining of April 2013. I did called them couple of times and they did not say anything. Then 3 months ago I received a letter saying they were mising my birth certificate and my parents marriage certificate. I send them the papers again and I got approved. I think when they take so much time to respond or transfer to anaother location they lost documents. at least in my case they lost it. Don't lose hope, I hope you will get answers soon... :-)
