Good evening all! Just wanted to let you all know that our status changed to "Welcome notice was mailed." I can't even begin to explain the excitement, but you all probably know that. The online status says that the card should get here before June 15, so I will keep you updated on the date it arrives. Good luck to all of you waiting and congrats to all the approvals!

April 21, 2014: USCIS received AOS packet

April 17, 2015: Card in production

April 20, 2015: "Welcome Notice for Receipt Number XXX. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by June 19, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later"

Hopefully it doesn't actually take that long...

PS we got the interview waiver letter in July 2014.

I have just received an email that my EAD has been mailed. I really assumed that all the EAD/AP stuff would be cancelled once the greencard was produced. I'll have both in hand soon, at this rate! Oh USCIS, you crazy.

You are not the only one. My step-daughter is still waiting for hers. Her NOA was April 11th, 2014.

This whole process has made my family loath the USCIS. We finally had enough an sent in a request to the Ombudsman office yesterday.

Going through 6 months of administrative processing for my Wife and daughter's K1/K2 was bad enough. A nearly 13 month wait on a 11 year old's green card is laughable. All the remaining April cases are probably sitting on the same person's desk, who is probably on indefinite coffee break.
