I suppose it will be for the month of February (just in time - I hope - for our one year wedding... maybe the administration's present to be still married after one year ? hehe ^^)

  • 5 weeks later...

Hi guys. I've not been on VJ for a while. Last year was such a whirlwind after getting over here in February.

Anyway, we are April filers and I am still waiting for my greencard too. I have a job and have travelled - albeit to Canada, just across the border as we don't live far from it. I still got hassle re-entering the USA last time which has made me reluctant to travel any more now, until the GC is in hand. Awkward, as my mum is badgering is to visit the UK :/

Anyway, I just wanted to add us to the list of people waiting. I am so over this!

AOS // 12 months 3 days

April 27, 2015 Greencard received

K-1 // 8 months
Feb 22, 2013 NOA1 - Oct 23, 2013 London Interview
March 18, 2014 Married

We are really fed up with all this wait as well. Beginning of December I submitted a case inquiry, confirmation e-mail said we are suppose to get reply about our case by Dec. 21.... its January 14 and still have not heard a thing. We made the mistake of not applying for work or travel permit. Did not think it was going to take this long.

If you're suffering the NPIW blues you are not alone. We filed in April as well, and still waiting. We also opened a service request and all we got back in the mail was a letter apologizing for the delays in processing our case.

It'll be an anniversary and Valentine's day gift! We have to stay positive, right? :clock:

Looks like someone that got NPIW letter on July 10 got approved already. There is hope for all of us now.

Looks like someone with July 10 NPIW got approved. No information on medical though. I'm not worried about medical, only because they are well aware that these delays are not our fault. Watch us get an RFE for medical for being so optimistic, HA!

I filed a service request last night, noting that the 6 month delay as stated on the 7/29 NPIW letter is up in 2 weeks, and that I was concerned about my medical expiring next month. I received an email confirmation saying I'd get a reply by 2/4.

This morning, these 3 updates are displayed on my case status, but unfortunately I didn't receive a response by email so it looks like they may have mailed it. The previous service request in December was answered by email, and I never received anything in the post, so I assumed this would be the same.

That was pretty quick. I did a service request on 12/10 it took 3 weeks. Is this your first service request? Maybe I should do another one to see if I get a quick response.
