Hello everyone! I just wanted to say I am also an April filer. I haven't posted before, but I have used this forum a lot to help with filing my application, so I thought it's time I say something ^^

I just need some help updating my timeline/signature... it says I need 1 more approved post. Anyone know what that means?

Yeah it can be a real pain in the butt for some of us. We also need the GC asap so we can start a few projects as well.

Luckily she finally found work, and has been working for the last 2 months... that's really helping to get us back on our feet && also so she isnt crazy bored all day long when I am at work. :)

I have done some browsing around the site today and I see quite a few waiting all the way from Feb yet with similiar situations of interview waiver letters as we got.

I'm going to be sad if we dont get it before Christmas.

Thats odd arnycsok that you haven't got a waiver letter yet. You should do an erequest or whatever it is they call it on the USCIS requesting a status update on your case....

I really cant believe how long the process takes either. I am sure they have plenty to research though, but if that's the case it sounds like they need to hire more workers which would be great for people who are looking for work! haha.

Today had my interview for my GC. Appointment was at 10:30am but officer didn't get us till 12:30pm. Once they called our names we went inside for 2 minutes and was right away approve. I couldn't believe it she just had to verify our names and DOB etc. I think taking our daughter help out because she said having a child is enough proof for me. GC is on production now yay!

The status of this service request is:

On 11/12/2014, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-485 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Our record shows that your Form I-485 is currently pending adjudication at the National Benefit center. Although our website shows that the form type that you are inquiring for is one month beyond this office’s normal processing time for this form type, since this office does not have your application; therefore, the information that you have obtained from our website is technically incorrect.

A search to our system shows that your application is within our normal processing for the National Benefit center for this particular form type. USCIS will notify you when the adjudication is completed.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

So while you're all getting approvals, mine's stuck at MSC for no good reason, keeping in mind they have no official processing date for I-485s at MSC, at least not on their processing times page. This might require a call to a Tier 2.

Very informative information. Please keep us posted if you end up making a call to tier 2. Did you get interview waiver letter like some others have? We have been waiting since April 28, did not get waiver letter or anything.

No, nothing on an interview waiver else it'd all be good. It's more the fact that it's seemingly stuck at MSC.
