Hello, no I didn't apply for those. I think if you have the interview already you don't have to worry about those cards. You will get GC soon.

I read your timeline and correct me but you did not receive your EAD/AP card?? did you apply for those or just GC?

I applied for EAD and AP card but we were scheduled forAOS interview already but still we havent received those. just wondering if some experienced the same

04/02/2014 Package received by USCIS
04/10/2014 E-notification paperwork received
04/10/2014 Checks cashed
04/14/2014 Hard notice received in a mail
04/18/2014 Biometrics app letter received for 05/12/2014
04/24/2014 Walk-in biometrics done at Port Chester, NY office( no problems at all, very nice people)
04/29/2014 My status online changed to Request for evidence
05/03/2014 got RFE and now status is stuck on Request for evidence response review.
08/26/2014 Status changed to Testing and Interview
08/29/2014 Got an email update interview scheduled for October 1st and paper notice sent out
10/1/2014 HAd our interview at Hartford,CT office. wasnt approved on the spot. 10/3/2014 Got an update that status of I485 changed to Card Production. Then at night changed to Decision. I 130 Post decision activity
10/09/2014 Status changed to Card production We mailed you a new card. You'll receive within 30 days
10/09/2014 Got a tracking number. Estimated delivery 10/11/2014
10/11/2014 Green card in hand!
Whole process took 6 month( thanks to RFE) :)

9/16/2016 Package sent to USCIS Vermont

9/22/2016 Check cashed

9/24/2016 Notice of Action in the mail dated 9/20/2016

10/2/2016 Received a letter for Biometrics for 10/19/2016

10/14/2016 Early walk-in for biometrics in Port Chester, NY again like last time no problems

I applied for my EAD like a month after I applied for OAs..And it came last July 25, my interview was Aug. 26 and so thankful we passed it. Dont' worry as long as your marraige is bonafide everything will be fine. I know you can make it!..

Hi all,

My husband and I went to his GC card interview yesterday and overall had a positive experience. Our IO was friendly and even laughed along at some jokes my husband made. When we left she said that she would review what we gave her and was obligate to let us know before 60 days.

In the afternoon I received an email that his green card was ordered into production!!! The only weird thing is now that I got another email update in the evening that there was a decision made on his case. So on the timeline it looks as if the case went backwards from card production.

Does this seem weird to anyone or is there something I should be concerned about? Thank you!

August 13th, 2010: Met my now husband while studying abroad in Sweden

March 5th, 2014: Got married!

March 20th, 2014: Mailed I-485 and I-765 to Chicago Lockbox through USPS Express 2-Day Mail

March 23rd, 2014: I-485 and I-765 arrived at Chicago Lockbox

April 8th, 2014: Notification of receipt of I-485 & I-765

~~Realized that I didn't include biometrics fee in my check, whoops! Sent in a check ASAP~~

April 17th, 2014: NOA Acceptance for I-485, fingerprint fee accepted

April 28th, 2014: Received RFE for I-485 for Birth Certificate

May 29th, 2014: RFE Response Review I-485

June 30th, 2014: EAD Card in Production

July 7th, 2014: EAD Card Mailed

July 7th, 2014 (just before 5 p.m.): Received email that USPS has picked up the EAD, tracking number provided, expected delivery: WEDNESDAY!

July 9th, 2014: EAD Received

July 15th, 2014: I-485 changed to testing and interview

Hi guys,

On my notice for an interview is written all what you need to bring to an interview. It says I have to bring I-683 unless already submitted. We sent all medical with AOS and I dont have a copy. Will it be a problem or a reason for RFE if we dont bring it?

If you got RFE it would slow down the process. Mine was 5 months but on their site said that processing time is 4 months. I started to worry but then after being 5 months and a few days I finally got an update for an interview.

Our case is still in the Acceptance state...

"On April 28, 2014, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you..."

Did not think it was going to take this long, and did not apply for Employment Authorization(I-765) or Travel Document(I-131). However, I have read that with the travel document is not really pleasant to re-enter the USA.

Hopefully not a lot longer until all of us waiting hear something.
