congrats guess not every k1 gets waiver

thanks,i guess not either,i thought i was gonna get a waiver being that it took awhile for them to assign an interview date and with the fact that my status was still on acceptance.oh well,it is what it is.

Nope I was a K1 and I had my GC interview last month.

what questions did they ask?did they ask for prove of relationship?how long did it take for your green card to arrive after interview?

USCIS received 1-I29F Packet Wed-June 12,2013.

NOA1 Notification (email & text msg) and Notice Date Fri-June 14,2013.

Awaiting NOA1 hard copy in mail.................................

NOA1 hard copy in the mail Fri-June 21,2013

I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) transferred from VSC to TSC On Fri-August 9, 2013

I129F,Petition for FIANCE(E) transfer and now being process at TSC Thur-August 15,2013

Receive Notice of Action Transfer (NOA-T) on Mon-August 19,2013

We were K-1 case as well. Officer explained how K-1 interview is really easy since most of the work is done at the consulate already. Most important is the official marriage certificate within 90 days of entry. Then they just went through the questions on the I-485 - super easy. At the end, after saying she will approve us, she asked if we wanted to submit something - I was way overprepared, haha. She just took health insurance info.

Just got back from traveling with the AP/EAD card. What a hassle that was. They interviewed my wife again pretty thoroughly almost in more detail than either the K-1 interview and GC interview. Our GC arrived home while we were traveling but that didn't seem to matter.

O my gosh! Finally my status changed to Testing and interview! It has been so long but finally some update! what a relief! Does anybody know how soon I will get a paper notice? Will it say what date is an interview and what to bring?

04/02/2014 Package received by USCIS
04/10/2014 E-notification paperwork received
04/10/2014 Checks cashed
04/14/2014 Hard notice received in a mail
04/18/2014 Biometrics app letter received for 05/12/2014
04/24/2014 Walk-in biometrics done at Port Chester, NY office( no problems at all, very nice people)
04/29/2014 My status online changed to Request for evidence
05/03/2014 got RFE and now status is stuck on Request for evidence response review.
08/26/2014 Status changed to Testing and Interview
08/29/2014 Got an email update interview scheduled for October 1st and paper notice sent out
10/1/2014 HAd our interview at Hartford,CT office. wasnt approved on the spot. 10/3/2014 Got an update that status of I485 changed to Card Production. Then at night changed to Decision. I 130 Post decision activity
10/09/2014 Status changed to Card production We mailed you a new card. You'll receive within 30 days
10/09/2014 Got a tracking number. Estimated delivery 10/11/2014
10/11/2014 Green card in hand!
Whole process took 6 month( thanks to RFE) :)
