I was one of the first april filers and i STOP using this blog so much Im SORRY but ill explain why ..!!!!!!

For those who know me ... im sorry if i havent posted or reply to some of your msg but heres my story and it might help some of you to understand what you got into  .

My name is ********** and i fielded my papers (AOS)_somewhere in march this year but it dost matter what matter is what day USCIS Receive it which is sometimes called the priority day well mine was MARCH 30 so thats why i consider my self more of a april filler than a march .

NEXT? >> you receive a biometrics notice or an RFE notice RFE mean that USCIS need additional information , or missing info . but somethings and not most of the time you can get an RFE anytime .This depends on how well you or your attorney prepared your documents but mostly you because is you or your spouse that are asking for adjust of status . right?

:ot2:

I got a Biometric notice which was about 20 days after my priority day If you want to see my timeline check my profile .

the biometric appointment was schedule for about 25 days after i receive the official letter, well i :content: did a successful walk in .

yeah another story ill share it later... :ot:

NEXT?>>>

:bonk:

Your worst nightmare probably one of the longest waits your gonna have in this process so get use to it ,don't cry about it just face it, relax take a deep breath and find something productive to do - A message for those in this step

And What are you waiting for you might ask ? :secret:

Well 2 or 3 things .

1) Your work permit (and Parole Document) Which Yes Yes yes it will be a combo card which was designated like 2 years ago its more convenient and yes its new 2 years ago they didn't have those, don't believe me ?google it. How long? No more than 75 day after our first date (priority date) my case ? 69 days .

2) Your aproved for an interview ( not the actual interview ) but a stupid step use to put u in a line for a date to schedule your appointment. but its a good sign it will mean that you're almost done

3) A 1000 US dollar check for your patience ... JUST KIDDING :P 3) AN RFE ... but don't wait for those instead hope that u don't get one of those if you do remain calm at least is not a denial letter . right?

NEXT>>>

yeah you get ur work permit, then you get youre social, you will then have a license well then bhal bla bla. YES YOU NOW WHAT COME WAIT BECOUSE YOU BEEN WAITING FOR BUT :ot: if i get request ill give you guys a tutorial on what to do next.

BUT WHAT YOUR REALLY WAITING FOR IS... your appointment notice which guys it will be another long wait about 95 days but once you do it will be your 2nd best feeling why and like i say in the little you can leave this blog or -_- do what Im doing share u story say good bye and help some couple folks good karma right ???

why is it the 2nd best feeling ?

becuse is your last step and you shouldnt worry ( IF YOU MARRIGE IS LEGITIMATE MEAN A REAL MARRIAGE ) SERIOUSLY DON BE AFRAID YOU MADE IT AND THE INTERVIEW WILL BE THE EASIEST THING IF NOT  UR IN TROUBLE....

seriously dont be afraid don't let people get on your head this is a very easy process nothing to be afraid of just stay calm if you doing this in love you be fine.

Trust me A USCIS officer is not there to Judge on your Race of background or whatever his there to catch fraudulent marriages.

bottom line is dont worry and be calm.

:ot:

My interview was today and its short, they asked my wife, the petitioner, only 2 questions ( when did i enter the country, whats my mother and father names and thats it ) they didn't ask me anything seriously and after 3 minutes he writes something down and says ok i just approved your case you will get a green card in the mail bye. Still i was a little lucky because this officer happens to give quick and simple interviews, but no matter how long the interview might take it is nothing to worry about.

My hands are tired so im gonna stop here GOOD BYE EVERYONE AND LIKE MY NICK NAME SAYS GOODLUCKTOUS

Approved! Yay, couldn't be happier.

Besides the receptionist lady messing up everything went great. She gave is the wrong receipt/number. We didn't know..How should we, we never did this before. After an hour waiting somebody came and gave us a new one. Of course it said we just checked in and we got the last number. So everybody who came after us still was called before us, That was pretty messed up. Especially since we had to leave at 4 am from Alabama. But after 3 hours waiting the man with the mean face called us - I saw him earlier and told my hubby I hope we don't get him, he looks mean. We ended up with him aaaand could not have been happier.

He asked for our IDs first. Then where my hubby was born, asked my hubby where I was born. Asked how we met and that was it and asked my hubby what we did for our 3 year Annivesary in June. Of course he didn't remember the name of the restaurant.... he just said we had steak at this grill. He then looked at me and said is that true? I said yes and told him the name of the restaurant. Did some work on his PC, looked at me and said: On here it says you're approved. I smiled and said REALLY lol. He said yes and shook my hand and finished the paper. Gave it to me and said since you've been married for 2 years you get the 10 year Greencard.. now you can get rid of him. I said nooooo and laughed.Really easy and a nice person too. He said it will be about 30 days till I get the Card.

Congrats!

Had our interview yesterday and were approved on the spot!

we arrived about 20 minutes early and waited about 40 minutes to be called in.

we then entered the room, he swore us in, asked for ID's passports, I-94s, and the first thing he did was ask for our boys birth certificates, then ge said that it would be silly to ask how we met and all of those questions after having 2 kids together lol, then he asked all the yes/no questions on the forms and asked why we waited 6 years to file for my greencard. he then saw our photos and laughed at some silly ones.... then he said congrats! gave us our receipt and walked us out the door :) thank u everyone for your help! and good luck to all of you waiting in this process!!!!

Hi, my interview is in 2 weeks and my understanding is

1. No you don't need to fill out forms already submitted, no I864

2. No need for copies of the G325A, I765 I485 etc

If you have a copy of your completed medical form I-693 then take it along.

Original and copies of all your documents that prove you are eligible to adjust and proof of your current status - I-94, previous visas (in your case F1- visa) even if expired, your EAD, Student ID if you are still enrolled, DL, original certified copy of your marriage certificate, your lease and so on.

No, you do not need to fill a new affidavit of support even though your financial status has changed. New bank statements since you filed, pay stubs from both your jobs are sufficient.

My interview was today. Got approved!!! Thanks for your help, the information you provided proved to be highly useful. My interview was painlessly easy, the interviewing officer didn't even ask for a photo album. He only asked two questions regarding our marriage; "how did we meet" and "why we chose to get married on a Thursday." My case status was updated online by noon. Once again, thanks a million. Wish you all the best on your interview. God bless!

Online status doesn't change, you just get a letter in the mail. It states it could take up to 6 months for the green card from the date of the letter.
