I must remind you that USCIS didn't say "after 75 working days", it is "after 75 days"; I'll advice you call them on Monday to possibly open "ARTF" SR on your EAD. I believe a lot of us would worry less if we got our EAD on time and got busy working. Checking our emails/text messages and USCIS website has become a job...lol

lol tell me about it, I'm constantly tracking my case and looking at jobs hoping I can start soon. I will give them a call next week.

My timeline is below in case it is helpful to anyone. For whatever it is worth and have been married to my US citizen wife for four years and we have a child. I've adjusted from F1, to F1-post completion OPT after completing my PhD, then to H1B, and have been cleared for work authorization three times in the last three years (including this AOS). Anyways, here is my breakdown:

  • 04/07/2014: Package mailed to USCIS
  • 04/10/2014: package received by USCIS
  • 04/15/2014: NOA for I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765
  • 04/22/2014: Biometrics appointment letter received for 05/08/2014
  • 05/08/2014: Biometrics taken 05/08/2014
  • 05/27/2014: Status change to 'testing and interview'
  • 06/02/2014: Interview scheduled for 07/03/2014
  • 06/20/2014: Notice that EAD and advance parole are approved
  • 06/21/2014: EAD card delivered
  • 07/03/2014: Interview. We were approved on the spot after about five minutes for a 10 year card. The AO was super friendly and said my card should be delivered in the next three weeks and gave me a warm welcome.
Based on what I have seen here, this was incredibly fast. Hope this helps!

04/11/2014....Biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 05/09/2014 (day 10)

05/09/2014....Biometrics done (day 38)

05/19/2014....Online status for I-485 changed to "Testing and Interview" (day 48)

06/16/2014....Service Request on "Approaching Regulatory Time Frame"(ARTF), advised to wait 2 more weeks (day 76)

06/23/2014....Got "ARTF" Service Request letter. Expect to receive decision or NOA within 60 days of 06/19/2014 (day 83)

06/29/2014....Scheduled infopass appointment for 07/14/2014 (day 89)

06/30/2014....Service Request on "Beyond Regulatory Time Frame"(BRTF). Expect notification within 5 days (day 90)

07/02/2014....Mailed appointment notice for interview for August 7, 2014 (day 92)

07/08/2014....Received hard copy of appointment notice for interview (day 98)

07/08/2014....Got "BRTF" Service Request letter. Expect to receive decision or NOA within 60 days of 07/02/2014 (day 98)

07/10/2014....Online status for I-765 changed to "Card/Document Production" (day 100)

07/14/2014....skipped infopass appointment (day 104)

07/16/2014....EAD mailed to my address. USPS picked up EAD from USCIS at 2:01pm. Expected delivery, 7/18/2014! (day 106)

07/18/2014....EAD in mail. Online status updated for delivery (day 108) :dancing:

07/21/2014....Applied for SSN at SSA. Will receive card within 2 weeks (day 111)

07/22/2014....Received SSN from SSA, while I wait to receive card (day 112) :dancing:

07/23/2014....Resumed at my new job (day 113) :dancing:

07/26/2014....SSC in mail (day 116) :dancing:

Awe you are so sweet. Same to you. I am not too worry because I know my husband will make sure I get my GC. It is just 4 days before our wedding ceremony. We are having a big ceremony and reception on Aug 9th. I'm so excited for both events that just 4 days apart. Then, we will leave town for own honeymoon to Mexico after I receive my GC or I make sure I got stamped on my passport.

Did you file yourself or used a lawyer? Have your contacted the uscis? My application was received on April 22, and so far I have an interview date and my EAD has been approved. I used a lawyer, but I don't think that makes a difference.

04/21/2014 sent out I-485, I-130, I-765

04/22/2014 Package delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

04/29/2014 Receive NOA

05/07/2014 Receive Notice to appear at application support center Houston, Tx

05/27/2014 Finger prints and picture done at application support center

07/03/2014 Case status on I-485 application change to Testing and Interview

07/08/2014 Interview scheduled for August 7th 2014

07/11/2014 EAD Card/Document Production

07/17/2014 Received email and text Card/Document Shipped (EAD) at 8.00 am07/17/2014 Received email and text stating that they have mailed notice of approval for my employment authorization.

I have a quick question. I received an update on June 30 that my EAD and AP were approved. My EAD status shows that it is in production, and my AP shows that it was mailed to me on June 30. I thought it is a combo card (EAD + AP).

I haven't received any notification with a shipping number that some of you have mentioned in your posts. Did anyone receive their EAD without notification about the shipping? I Have run out of patience with this waiting game, need to be able to work ASAP

I never seen what either the combo or either documents look like. I did not apply for AP because I don't intend to leave the States before my green card. I haven't got an update on my EAD so, congrats on your EAD/AP updates. I so look forward to my EAD, too!

Hi, i received a txt with tracking number a week after my ead & ap status updtated. Next day i got my combo card. So just wait a lil bit more :) there might be a delay for you bcoz of 4th of july and the weekend. Btw happy 4th of july! :)

EAD card was mailed and expected to arrive tomorrow July 5.. AP was approved at the same time with EAD but no update since approval, no card production.. so I guess no combo card, just EAD card for now.. and AOS still in acceptance.. omg!

FWIW, we were notified about my husband's EAD/AP being approved by our congressional contact; a day later the EAD changed to the in production, a day after that, we got the USPS number. The entire time, the AP status was still "initial review."

He did receive a combo card, and a week after receipt of the card, AP status switched over to match EAD. Honestly, I just don't think the online system is as updated and accurate as we'd all like.

EAD card and AP is the same card. I didn't apply for AP. So my card says "not valid for reentry."
