thought it was 75 days for ead, am i wrong??

You can call customer service after 75 days of waiting to receive your EAD. They should open an "Approaching Regulatory Time Frame" request for you. But if nothing positive happens after 90 days, you will then call to open an "Outside Regulatory Time Frame" request. That's what I did, you can look at my signature.

I have a tracking number for my ead. My concern is that it went from Kentucky to Knoxville in tennessee . I recently did a change if address from tennessee so I'm worried they've sent it to my old address. Anyone else see the ead go through Knoxville but end up going to another state elsewhere?

Question: I have SSN 10 years ago but with red stamp with work authorization only. Should I wait for GC to get rid of that stamp or just use my EAD? I heard they still stamp if I present only EAD. Is that true?

With your EAD card, you will get the same one that shows "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION."

After you got a green card, and bring it to your local social office then they are going to remove the phrase and send it to your mailing address.

Such a good question and such a great answer. Thank you guys. I thought about changing my name on SS card now but it's better wait I think. Coz everything comes from this small piece of paper. Hope DMV will produce my driver license with a new name as stated on EAD, because Bank refused to change my name until I get either SS card or driver license (id) with a new name on it. Gosh. So much stuff to finish still)

Does it mean one can't get loan or grants for graduate school with just an EAD pending approval and receipt of Green card?!
