Does anybody know about what happens to F1 student status after filed AOS?

my question is I am a F1 student, so if USCIS accepts the concurrent filing of my husband and me, will I be out of F1 status? should I inform for school that I applied for green card?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, once you receive your gc you will no longer be an international student. Contact the international student program at your school, they have advisors the help

My international advice suggested that I show her my marriage certificate and once I receive my NOAs. Just send a copy for her, so she can release me as an international student.

Your school might require it differently. So ask your counselor or school admission.

As per my earlier post on page 2 of this thread, I mailed her I-485 along with her Employment authorization on April 10. It arrived on April 14. Last night on April 17 about 9:30 (local time) we received the 2 emails stating they accepted the applications and routed it to the NBC for processing.

I had thought it would be routed to our local office, but perhaps that comes after it routes to NBC?

Either way, I'm always glad to get that first acceptance notification...now for the wait
