We are in the same boat. I finished biometrics on April 24, and nothing still. So confused. It seems like USCIs in colorado slows down extremely, before people got EAD/AP much faster. Do you know what is about your state? how long does it usualy takes?

They said it takes around 3-4 months for the whole thing to process Im barely 2 months into it but I figured I would have at least an interview date by now :(

August 2007: Met husband

September 2007: Officially started dating

December 2008: Married

September 2009: welcomed our first son

October 2010: welcomed our second son

March 2014: husband became a US citizen

April 12th 2014: sent My AOS packet

April 14th 2014: AOS packet delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

April 24th 2014: received NOAs for I-130,I-765, I-485

April 26th 2014: received biometrics notice for 05-13-2014

May 13th 2014: Biometrics completed succesfully

I think you are about to get EAD/AP soon. Maybe you can check for others in the same state...the timeline is likely to be the same.

For me, I've checked with applicants in Boston. Their EAD approval date is the same as mine, 1 month plus 6 days exactly from the scheduled biometric date.

It seems like early biometric did not expedite the EAD form my research.

When does the 90 days start? Received date or notice date?

April 30 - Hard copy of NOA for I-485, I-765


May 5: Biometrics App: 5/23


May 22: Biometrics


May 28: I-485 status changed to "testing & interview" on USCIS website.


June 25: EAD Card in production (YAY)


July 2: Received COMBO card.


July 2: Applied for SSN

I just called USCIS to find out about my case and waiting time. The Lady told me they're still working on cases from August 2013.. so it's going to be a looong time before my case will get processed :(. Ugh. I really wanted to go see my family in december but I think that's not possible. I've had my biometrics done May 23rd so exactly 4 weeks today. I hope I will get my ead soon

wow, that's very strange. I don't understand.. but there's nothing I can do besides wait. Did you get your EAD yet?

i dont understand whats going on because I have my interview set for July and I filed in April, thats very strange

Finally got notification that my EAD has been approved and picked up by USPS today. Phew, I almost gave up on thinking that I would have it before my interview. :dancing:

April 5th, 2014 [Day 00]: Mailed AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765)

April 7th, 2014 [Day 02]: Delivered at Chicago Lockbox

April 14th, 2014 [Day 09]: Email and text receipt notification

April 18th, 2014 [Day 13]: Received biometrics appointment letter (scheduled for May 7th)

May 7th, 2014 [Day 32]: Biometrics completed successfully

May 19th, 2014 [Day 44]: Application updated to interview and testing

May 24th, 2014 [Day 49]: Interview date and time letter received in the mail (scheduled for July 10th)

June 20th, 2014 [Day 76]: Received text/e-mail notice that USPS picked up my EAD

June 23rd, 2014 [Day 79]: Received EAD in mail
