i have my interview date but no ead, was told i may not get one that i will probably go straight to getting my greencard, status hasnt changed since may 1st on the site

The same here. So far the EAD stil on initial review and my interview is next month too. Wish you well.

Our timeline was similar. We had our interview scheduled and she had her Greencard in hand 8 days after the interview was over. No changes were ever made to the EAD, so I assume it was simply not processed

Congrats for your EAD :)

I haven't got it yet. Can I ask whether you got email/text for card production status and if so how many days until you get card shipment email/text alert?

Thank you

I got a text and an email on Monday evening 6/16/14 saying that my case status had been updated and when I checked it, this is the message is saw: The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on June 16, 2014. The USPS tracking number assigned is #DCN. You can use this number at......blah blah blah

When I entered the tracking code, I saw that the card had already been shipped and was at my local post office, due to be delivered the next day. I received the card yesterday morning 6/17/2014 at 9:57 am.

Hope you make sense of what I wrote. Good luck!!!

Seems to depend on what your argument is for. Some get it, some don't. My husband did just get his (even though our timeline is roughly the same as yours), because his job offer has a very specific start date (and it impacts when he'll be able to get work for years to come). I'm not sure how likely it would have been if he didn't have that, though - the Congressional aide helping us was pretty clear that they're cracking down on allowing expedited EADs for "just any job offer." She felt that there needed to be significant extenuating circumstances beyond just the offer, and wasn't even certain our situation would count. (Note: this is only the opinion of the Congressional aide we worked with.)

TBH, I think we got ours more because of the weirdness of academia and the fact that the job offer was made out to him on the assumption he'd be getting a different sort of VISA, and it was clear that the job wasn't contingent upon an EAD, but just permission to work in the USA. (It's just that he couldn't pursue the other VISA work option because he was here on a K1, etc.)

FINALY SOME MOVEMENT HERE TOO! I got the same notice about the EAD! Was mailed June 19! Thought I have no movement in the AOS case :( Unfortunately the EAD is not enough for me to join the military. I also applied for the AP... are EAD and AP not on the same card? Are those two different documents?

I'm guessing the AP was also approved as the EAD/AP are usually on the same combo card. Not uncommon for them to forget to update one of them. Congrats!

I really hope so :D thank you!

Sent my packet April 5 and they received it April 9.

Now nothing.

Yesterday I read here that they are now reviewing people who got their NOA1 on April 8th... i mean when the NOA1 was issued... So i was thinking: ''My NOA1 was issued April 9th (Says on the NOA notive, somewhere up top) so I should get it in the next couple days....'' and i got it this morning :) So maybe its the same for you?

We are in the same boat. I finished biometrics on April 24, and nothing still. So confused. It seems like USCIs in colorado slows down extremely, before people got EAD/AP much faster. Do you know what is about your state? how long does it usualy takes?

Every path takes time, wisdom, passion and patience! Have fun along the way!
