what date is your interview? once you will have GC you don't need EAD or AP...

Still no interview date...just the text message that our case was changed to testing and interview

well i tried to walk in at the Elizabeth, NJ ASC. guard turned us away. he nicely said that people have been abusing it too much there and they have absolutely been refusing walk-ins for the last two years.

Congratulations !! You got approval so fast. My EAD and AP cases are still at initial review while I had fingerprint done on May 6.

Thinking that there might be something wrong with my case :crying:

I have called USCIS on Friday, and I told them that I have a job offer pending. The representative was very nice and helped me to expedite my case. Later in the day I have received an email with some instructions to fax the job offer from my employer to a certain number, attaching the email that i received. I faxed the job offer and email on Sunday and today I got the update on my case. My employer really needs me to start working ASAP in the office.

April 18 - Package delivered

April 22 - 3 Texts&emails notification for Receipt Notice

April 26 - Hard copy of NOA for I-485, I-765, I-131

May 1 -Received appointment letter for May 19th, in Philly, PA

May 19 - Successfully Biometrics appointment done

May 29 - EAD and AP status online changed to "Card/Document Production" (EAD) and "Post decision activity" (AP)

June 3 - EAD sent out for delivery

August 2 - Interview Waiver Letter received in mail dated 7/29

Feb 12, 2015 - EAD/AP renewal mailed

Feb 19, 2015 - Got 7 text & 7 emails notification - case received (EAD)

GREEN CARD IN PRODUCTION/CASE APPROVED APRIL 15, 2015

April 8th, 2015 - EAD renewal approved

April 16th, 2015 - EAD mailed

April 18th, 2015 - EAD received

April 20, 2015 - Welcome to America letter received

April 21, 2015 - Green card mailed

I am desperately waiting for something in the mail, got the biometrics done and my status changed to testing & interview but nothing on the work permit yet :( ugh how long will it take!!! I need to stat working asap :(

So, I received an update on the i485 on the 19th about going to testing and interview, no updates since then, but I checked online and it says the case was last "touched" on the 29th (yesterday) but no emails or anything... Could that mean we got an interview date already? Or what could it mean?

This happened to me this morning. I guess we will have to wait and see

If it did have a date set then when you go into the petition itself after having logged in then it will say that a letter has been mailed out regarding an interview.

If not then it might be that someone just looked at it, without deciding on a date, they then record this in the system.

How can we know that our case is touched?

Visit http://www.uscis.gov/ and create account. Add your receipt numbers and its going to say "Last updated" Means it got touch :-)
