Hi All,

Update

Card/ Document Production

On May 13, 2014 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

We got this update the day before our biometrics which was completed successfully on May 14th.

Question - Does this mean card is in production or they actually mailed it, we went from initial review to Card/Document production status and the noted saying they mailed it on the 13th. do they usually give a tracking number ?

Oh that's great news !!!

That means that your document is is production, you will have another update with a tracking a number .

But can you please remind me the date when did you file ??

And have you have any change in your I485 ??

they received it 4/14

our 485 is still in initial review but we just did our biometrics.

Is it normal to always get a tracking number ? how do they give you the tracking number ? via email or they update the info on the site via your receipt number ?

This seems odd - don't you need biometrics for EAD approval?

i have read it is not related..the biometrics are related to the 485. Someone correct me if i am wrong

My biometrics letter had two numbers on it, one was for the i-765 and the other was for i-485 and when I got mine done the lady scanned both barcodes on the letter so I'm guessing it relates to both, not sure though hopefully someone can clear it up for you

Had my biometrics done yesterday. Also had two numbers and am fairly sure one is for the 485 and one for the 765.

Also had them done in York, PA. It was the simplest step of the whole process thus far, in and out in under 10 minutes.

Now waiting for e-notification or tex message.

Does it usually jump to initial review after that? I mean when I check my case status for the I-485 the ''interview'' step doesn't even show up. What does that mean and how long does it usually take to move into the next step after the biometrics?

I had my biometrics appointment on May 2nd and status still hasn't changed, I know a lot of people say that the status on the website doesn't get updated for every case so I'm not going to stress for a few more months at least

Hey guys I'm new here I filed my aos package in april and have my biometrics on friday may 23rd. My question is.. how long does the aos application stay in acceptance? All my otger forms are in initial review only my aos isn't.. I already received I-797 receipts in the mail in the beginning of may

Has anyone received EAD without tracking number ? Reason why I ask is below. We got a update that it shipped but no tracking number

We are feeling rather lucky in our journey. We went in for our biometrics last Monday...May 12, and we were in and out in 10 minutes. There was nobody in line at security, and there was absolutely NOBODY waiting in the waiting area for biometrics at all. When we went through this, we were hopeful that since our local office didn't seem busy at all, that we'd get the interview, because it's generally faster. We were hoping that maybe we'd get the interview in July sometime, but weren't holding our breath over it.

I continued by daily quick status check to see if it had changed at all after biometrics, but it hadn't all week, so we were very surprised to see a letter in the mail on Saturday (mailed May 15) stating that our interview was scheduled for June 5. They said for both of us to come and to bring all the documents we have supporting our case, such as bank records and other items showing our co-mingling of finances. We were very surprised, but happily so.

Of course we went to check the status and even as of now (May 19) it still shows the same status it has since they first received our file.

Wow that is so fast! Congrats! May I ask where you are filing?

I havent seen any changes in my case either and I got my bio done on the 13th so this gives me hopes lol
