Hi All,

First, thanks yo to all the help and advice I've been given from the people on this site.

Just a quick question in re Joint sponsor for i-134 form: I have just received a letter of employment confirmation (ie: legnth of service, salary, position) and copy of recent W2. Just want to confirm I do not need their most recent tax return?

Also, my petition expires April 11 and I'm going to get a new letter of intent to marry notorised today (£70.00) as I've read I my fiance will need that for the interview. Is that correct?

Finally, I filled in my online readiness form last night, what's the approximate waiting times for an interview date?

It's almost complete and fingers crossed the interview goes well. Especially with the delay in getting GP report and my joint sponsor waiting 4 weeks to get an employer letter. What a nightmare!

Cheers All

From when my status was updated on the website (once they received my medical results) the letter arrived 2 weeks later with an interview date for 2 weeks after that. My interview is 1 week today 10th April. Maybe its a bit less than that - my status was updated on 18th March and interview 10th April.

It will vary depending on how busy they are. I would guess at 2 weeks for the appointment letter to arrive and then anything for the interview date itself - maybe they are a little quiet at the moment but who's to say they haven't got really busy.

Until you get the appointment letter as you know its just a matter of waiting and any guesses are exactly that just guesses.

Edit: My fiancee submited the original petition on the 3rd January this year so 4 months in total. With a 2 week delay waiting on a letter from my doctor. I guess that's not a bad timescale all in all :)

If you check the embassy twitter, they said that today they were processing 'readiness for interview applications' up to and including April 3rd. I.e today. Not sure if that helps?

I have my medical Monday, i134 being posted today, so I'm filling the readiness application out tonight.
